About us

The Estodent dental laboratory was founded by Elwira Stepniak in 1999 in Szczecin.

Initially it was a one-man practice but now it is a team of several dental technicians performing a wide range of prosthetics and dental works, offering new technologies, materials and solutions.

In 2003 there was a rapid development of the laboratory. The staff was increased and modern equipment was acquired. ZX-27 Glass Support System was introduced as well as crowns and inley'e prepared in SINTERCAST system.

The next step was to take part in numerous trainings and to acquire further skills, such as the Master System of making Pindex method divided models, working with the articulator and facial arc in the KaVo PROTAR evo system and winning the title: KaVo Coach in this area.

In 2005, the department of ceramics was expanded by the Press no-metal system, and previous experience with facial bow and articulator increased the quality and the effect of the cosmetic additions that we made.

The breakthrough came in January 2006 when we purchased the CAD / CAM system KaVo Everest scanner. This allowed our dentists to create crowns and bridges of zirconium oxide, titanium and composite.

In later years, the offer was extended successfully with flexible nylon and acetal.
In 2009, we introduced a HIT! The thinnest all-ceramic veneers, giving the dentist the opportunity to work "without grinding."

In 2010, Elwira Stepniak graduated from the ceramic Master course on "Aesthetic ceramic restoration in difficult clinical conditions", the subject of which was to make a four-point bridge in the side section with interdental separation in the middle of one of the pillars.

In 2012, we offered our services to dentists in the UK. A Laboratory branch in Forfar was opened and now it operates successfully offering dental works both private as well as within the NHS. We are registered with the GDC # 223945 and MHRA No: CA013505
